MKR
Eliminator Class 132 Racing

Introduction

MKR Eliminator Class 132 Racing, is designed to offer, a professional racing environment, experience, for persons eight years or older.  Whether your eight or eighty years old, you will have the opportunity, to engage in a  competition, that is fair to everyone, and will produce winners, based on their driving strategies, and skill, and not on how much money you spend.  As a Racer, all you need is a stock out of the box car, and a controller.   This keeps the cost down, so more people can afford to race, and be introduced to slot car racing, without ever having to have done it before.  You don't even have to own your own track yet.  In fact, if you win enough races, you can buy your own track and everything you need, and pay for it, with your winnings.

What is
Eliminator Class 132 Racing

The Carrera Digital 132 Slot Car Racing System, is designed so that up to six human controlled slot cars, can be raced simultaneously, regardless of the track configuration, plus one autonomous "Ghost Car". Meaning that all seven cars can operate anywhere on the track, and change lanes, to pass or block, whether the track is two lanes, or more. The cars are all programmed simultaneously, prior to the Race Practice Session, so that each car has the same performance capability, to provide the fairest of racing for everyone.

There shall be a Maximum of 72 entries, for closed course, Road Racing.

Like Drag Racing,
which consists of side by side 2 car "Elimination" races,
standing start, straight to the finish line,
for a scale eighth, or quarter mile,
or eighth or quarter kilometer.
Winner of each race, moves on to the next round.
Everyone else is "Eliminated".

At this time, Carrera Digital 132, Drag Racing only cars, do not exist.
Perhaps in the future, if there is enough market pressure,
Carrera-Revell, will be motivated to produce a Carrera Digital 132 Drag Race Set, and individual cars.  Carrera only needs one mold, for a dragster, and one mold for a funny car, to get started.  Drag Racing is very popular in the USA and Australia, and big market exists.    A Sportsman 0.500 second, progressive Christmas Tree Light, could be provided for Stock and Super Stock classes.  A 0.400 second, Pro Christmas Tree Light, could be provided for Pro Stock, Top Fuel Funny Car, and Dragster.  Before the cars are pre staged and then staged, the lane change button on the controller, could be used to, bump the car forward, into the staging lights.  After the cars are staged, In Stock, Super Stock, and Pro Stock, mode, the lane change button on the controller, could be used to shift through the five speeds.  Each time you push the button, the speed would increase.  Top Fuel could run at 100%.
Funny Car at 95%.  Pro Stock could run at 80% in 5th gear, 75% in 4th gear, 70% in 3rd gear, 65% in 2nd gear, 60% in first gear.  Super Stock could run at 70% in 5th gear, 65% in 4th gear, 60% in 3rd gear, 55% in 2nd gear, 50% in first gear.  Stock could run at 60% in 5th gear, 55% in 4th gear, 40% in 3rd gear, 35% in 2nd gear, 30% in first gear.  Check Lanes could be used to record your 60, 330, 660, 1,000 and 1320 foot times or their metric equivalents, as the case may be quarter or eighth mile or kilometer.

Currently, a drag race series could be held with STOCK Class street driven models.  Since no Carrera Digital 132 Drag Race set exists, Race Hosts would have to provide, the timing equipment necessary, to execute the race properly.

Since Carrera Evolution and Digital 132 cars have the same motors,
if all agree, the cars could also be run in analog mode, however you would lose the capability, of using five Check Lanes, to time your 60, 330, 660, 1,000 and 1320 foot timers etc.
